VIDEO: Burkina Faso's army steps up pressure after coup

Burkina Faso's army says it has arrested a former high-ranking minister who served under the country's now-ousted president of nearly 30 years.

Former Foreign Affairs Minister Djibril Bassole denies the allegations that he supported the military general behind this month's failed coup.

The government accuses Bassole of joining forces with General Gilbert Diendere and alleges the two have sought help from foreign forces.

While coup leader Diendere quickly handed power back to the civilian transitional government, efforts to disarm his supporters have stalled.
