Stones Taekwondo comes to Alotau

Stones Taekwondo is growing rapidly in the country as it goes to Alotau to establish a franchise club in town.

Master Jamuga Stone, the country’s longest serving martial arts instructor, travels to Milne Bay on November 16 to conduct and open its Alotau branch.

Martial arts is in its infant stages in Milne Bay and Master Stone is determined to establish Taekwodo and Kempo Arnis in Alotau.

He will introduce taekwondo in three categories; Traditional, Combat and Sports.

This will be the first time for a PNG Master of Taekwondo to conduct a martial arts training seminar in Milne Bay Province.

“There is potential in Alotau to promote and develop martial arts,” says Master Stone.

There will be a special morning session on November 19 dedicated to women and girls for “Stop Violence against Women” program. So all interested women and girls are encouraged to register for this program. Kick Drugs out of PNG will also be conducted during the training seminar.

“The actual training seminar will commence on November 17-20. All interested people must register their interest in advance to secure their space,” he says.

Registration will start on November 4 and close on the 14th.

The training seminar fee is K75 per participant. Late fee is K80.

“Only 60 spaces are available for general training seminar and 30 spaces for the Stop Violence Against Women program for a fee of K35. Register now and don’t be late.”

Master Stone is calling on local member Charles Abel to sponsor this worthwhile martial arts program.

For registration and details, call Master Jamuga Stone on mobile 7972 5922, or Solomon Tiamana in Alotau on 7075 9045.
