PNG Barramundis take on Afghanistan this evening in Ireland.
This is their final chance to qualify for the ICC World T20 in India next year.
Barras head coach Dipak Patel said the team has done aggressive training drills since Monday and are determined to produce a great result.
Patel said they’ve addressed some issues that have been identified and are now confident in giving the best of their abilities and skills in today’s match.
“We may look at changing the line- up but this is a great opportunity for us once again to overlook mistakes and finish on top.
“We appreciate all the support back home in PNG and it has put the team in a more positive mindset to keep our hopes alive in the qualifier as well,” Patel said.
The match will be telecast live at 07:30pm PNG time on TVWAN Sports HD.
The winner of this match will qualify alongside Ireland, Scotland, the Netherlands and Hong Kong.
