As per tradition, the pageant week will begin with a church service at St. Mary's Cathedral, down town, Port Moresby.
The six contestants will also get their order of appearance during the crowning event as well as their respective topics for the week.
According to deputy chairperson Molly O’Rourke, the topics will cover issues affecting the region.
Activities for the week have already been lined up, including the contestants visiting the maternity wing as well as donating blood.
“So the week will definitely be quite a hectic one,” O’Rourke said.
MPIP PNG announced their final contestant this week, confirming the closure of entrants.
“Next Sunday is when the pageant week starts and we have to give the girls time to prepare themselves and organise their week.”
O’Rourke thanked all the sponsors who came on board, particularly contestant sponsors.
The six contestants are as follows:
Miss IBS (Institute of Business Studies) - Samantha Kuase
Miss Italpresziosi - Dorothy Elliot
Miss PBF (Pacific Balance Fund) - Melody Leke
Miss Queen Emma - Lois Ilave
Miss ITI (International Training Institute) - Rose Pitoi
Miss PAG (Pacific Assurance Group) - Kellyanne Limbiye
