No Christmas tree for VC

Next year the Vision City Mall management is adamant they will put up another Christmas tree come the festive season

This was the assurance given by the VC Assistant General Manager Anderson Ting when he was speaking about what was going to happen next following yesterday’s  fire that gutted the entire Christmas tree. So for now, there will be no replacement of the burned out Christmas tree to celebrate Christmas this Friday.

Ting says that next year they will aim to put up a similar tree but this time have it cornered off from the public so that people do not come too close to the actual structure.

He says that they will most likely maintain the same centre piece setting but will have the roundabout  barricaded  to keep the public from  sitting near the Christmas tree.

In the meantime today PNG Loop was on site and noticed that the roundabout is still tapped up while the structure is being dismantled and taken away.
