Hunters told to stay focused

SP PNG Hunters have been reminded to stay focused on this Sunday’s game despite the hype of the 15th Pacific Games.

Thirteen of the 15 member Pacific Games team comes from the Hunters while two players are from the Digicel Cup competition.

Hunters take on Redcliffe Dolphins in round 17 of the Intrust Super Cup at the Dolphins Oval.

Coach Michael Marum said their usual practice of “taking one game at a time” still applies as the Hunters prepare for their 10th consecutive win.

Marum believes in making sure the processes needed are there to get the desired result.

“We talk about getting the little things right, like completing our sets of six, everybody making sure they do what is expected of  and the result will take care of itself,” he said.

The team flies out tomorrow(Thursday) for the Sunday game starting at 1.40pm.

This match is a Channel 9 televised game therefore will be carried by EMTV.
