Digicel Business launches three ICT service targeting SMEs

Digicel Business today launched an Information Communication Technology product to aid small Papua New Guinea businesses do business.

Gary Cobain, Head of Digicel Business launched the tailored made ICT product for small and medium enterprises which will be rolled out in Port Moresby and Lae.

 He said the product is custom-made after workshops and discussions with over 100 SMEs.

Cobain guaranteed that the price is 50 per cent lower that’s services provided by other Internet Service Providers.

The three new services are Office Essential, Office Boost and Office Platinum. Each service package when purchased provides an office in a box solution. It comes with an internet broadband, desk phone, and smart phones which come with unlimited credits and data.

All prices are charges for a month, Office Essentials to cater for 1-2 employees and cost K799, Office Boost for 2-5 employees costing K1,399 and Office Platinum for 6-10 employees costing K2,499.

“Digicel Business is committed to supporting the Papua New Guinea Government’s goal to grow the SME community from 49, 500 to 500, 000 by 2030, by making telecommunications more affordable and easier to access,” Cobain said.

“Those business packages are the first of a series of innovative solutions designed to help local small businesses, and encourage their growth, productivity and profitability without compromising quality and value. It offers an opportunity for businesses to deliver quality services to their clients at an affordable price.

“Depending on which package they select, customers will have access to an internet connection of 5 Mbps to 10 Mbps download speeds and from 10GB to 56GB of data usage per month.”

Cobain added that there will also be 24 hours business support manned by a dedicated team to assist customers.
