The art of giving

Giving is a wonderful way to bless and support community charity organisations.

The NASFUND Contributors Savings & Loan Society Limited (NCSL) has supported few charity and corporate activities in 2017 and believes that supporting community based activities, which benefit people or children either medically or through education, is an effective way of reaching out to the communities.

Ending off last year’s leg of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, the kind hearted staff of NCSL raised funds to purchase reading books and stationery.

These were donated along with a few other goodies for the children who are supported and cared for by the Foundation for Women and Children at risk, also known as WeCare PNG Foundation.

This organisation is locally run and carries out its work in assisting disadvantaged and marginalised children, including orphans.

Program manager for the Foundation, Josephine Dromenge, said the Foundation was deeply grateful for NCSL’s kind gesture and will prepare these gifts for their four early childhood learning centres in the settlements in 2018.

NCSL is a locally run organisation and supports community activities without impacting on member’s funds.
