ANZ staff trained on Kina Bank systems

More than 300 ANZ staff have completed training on Kina Bank platforms ahead of the transfer of ANZ’s Retail, Commercial and Small-Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) businesses on September 23rd.

ANZ Kokopo Branch Manager, Dessie Buka, said: “My training has been really thorough and once I’ve finished, I’ll be supporting my team with continuous training on Kina Bank systems and processes.

“The systems are very similar to what we have been using at ANZ so it has been very straightforward. We’ve put a lot of effort into making sure the experience is as seamless as possible for customers because we all want to ensure that everything goes smoothly from day one,” Buka said.

Kina Bank trainer Sereana Napitalai said: “The training has gone really well. The ANZ staff have been eager to learn and have quickly picked up the Kina Bank systems. We are looking forward to them joining our team at the end of the month.

“We’re committed to offering our customers the best banking experience and we want to make sure that everyone is taken care of. During the transition period there will be extra support for customers at the branches and in our call centre,” Napitalai said.

For more information, ANZ customers can speak to their Relationship Manager or call ANZ’s Call Centre team on +675 3201079 or visit www.anz.com/papuanewguinea
