Prayer warriors take to the streets of Port Moresby

A dawn prayer service, led by inter-denominational church groups, was then held at the National Parliament house, starting at 5am.

Youths from churches walked in groups from as far as Gerehu, Morata and Waigani, to the Parliament house to join in the dawn prayer service.

The service was led by Pastor Joseph Walters and other church leaders. Prayers seeking forgiveness as well as thanksgiving were done this morning.

Youths representing each province led prayers for the 22 provinces in the country.

Pastor Walters challenges leaders to be incorruptible

Speaking during the funeral service of late Hela Governor Anderson Agiru today at the Sir John Guise stadium in Port Moresby, Walters said the only cure and remedy of corruption is the Word of God.

He told the leaders and families gathered not to allow the corruptible nature to take control of their lives but to change and put on the incorruptible seed.

Reverend Walters urged the leaders to change within first before they change the country.
