Pastor Walters challenges leaders to be incorruptible

Chairman of the Pastors Fraternity in PNG Reverend Joseph Walters has challenged the leaders of this great nation to put on an incorruptible seed that will change this nation.

Speaking during the funeral service of late Hela Governor Anderson Agiru today at the Sir John Guise stadium in Port Moresby, Walters said the only cure and remedy of corruption is the Word of God.

He told the leaders and families gathered not to allow the corruptible nature to take control of their lives but to change and put on the incorruptible seed.

Reverend Walters urged the leaders to change within first before they change the country.

Those in attendance include Prime Minister Peter O'Neill, Chief Justice Sir Salamo Injia, Ministers, Members of Parliament and important dignitaries.

The late Anderson Agiru’s body will be flown to Mendi, Southern Highlands tomorrow morning.
