Kapi Natto impressed with talent on show at Papaka

Team Manager of Hekari United FC, Vonnie Kapi Natto says she was impressed with the talent on show at the Papaka Sports Association (PSA) Cup grand final on the weekend.

Kapi Natto said football players from the Central province have plenty of talent in them and they proved this with 20 players drafted into Hekari’s train-on squad after last year’s inaugural Hekari Central Cup.

“We had three players from Papaka, four from Kalo, four from Keapara and two from Kaparoko.

“There were 12 that stayed committed until the end with three or four making the final cut,” said Kapi Natto.

She encouraged the players to stay committed and disciplined to achieve their dreams in life.

“There is so much talent here. I’ve been very impressed. But it will take a lot of sacrifice, commitment and discipline for you to go further.

“Keep on playing football and we’ll see you all at this year’s Hekari Central Cup which will be bigger and better,” said Kapi Natto.

Kapi Natto finished by pledging K2, 500 to the PSA.
