Advocate stresses the importance of child’s health

When it concerns your child’s health, you have to be smart about it, says Geradine Moeder, a Doterra wellness advocate.

This counts today where everything is processed or manufactured, including food, household detergents, even medicine.

She highlighted the hidden sugars and toxins in everyday things people use or feed their children with that is damaging to their health.

“Nothing may happen now but wait until they are 30 or 40. Their health status begins with what you’re putting into their body,” she said.

Simple reminder to parents are:

  • Think organic – don’t buy fruits from shops, buy straight from the market
  • Fluoride Vs no-Fluoride – always boil water
  • Cut down on dairy products for children
  • Be careful of the hidden sugar in what you feed your child
  • There are other natural substitutes to antibiotics like essential oil (proven very effective to a child’s health) – antibiotics flushes out both good and bad bacteria and is dangerous to the digestive system
  • A child’s body absorb toxins more quickly. Try natural substitutes

Moeder says parents should be more pro-active in their child’s health.

“The more informed one is, the better your child’s health is.

“And I’m not saying don’t do this, don’t do that. What I’m saying is for parents to be smart about it!”

Moeder is a Silver leader with the Doterra, a global community of Wellness Advocates.
