In a match to end the round 1 of the private companies’ netball club challenge in Port Moresby today, POM Electrical thumped Duffy with a 2 pointer.
POM Electrical made a great start to the game, with quick goals from shooter (GS) Eunice Rapilla followed by some great defensive play to hold the lead 5-3 at half time.
Duffy girls came out determined in the second half to get ahead as they toughened their defense and lessened the lead.
However, they could not count their shots as POM Electrical girls quickly moved the ball into the shooting circle despite the strong defense to escalate the lead to a 12-10 match point.
