Digicel PNG Foundation will be hosting the 2015 Men of Honour Awards Gala Dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Port Moresby on April 16, 2016.
At the Gala Dinner, ordinary men who are doing extra ordinary things will be awarded through the Foundation’s Men of Honour campaign.
These Men of Honour that have been nominated by their communities for the roles they play as education champions, local investors, protectors, visionaries and leaders.
According to a statement from the Foundation, of the 88 nominations that they received, an independent panel of judges has selected 15 finalists.
As the Men of Honour is a campaign against violence in PNG the Foundation is using this event to further showcase Papua New Guinea’s rich culture heritage.
To commence the formalities of the evening, 400 guests will be invited to walk through a Guard of Honour, represented by men from the 22 provinces in their full traditional regalia.
