‘Courage’ is a collaboration featuring one of the country’s top female artists, Alyson Joyce.
The new single is a dance track that has a unique message and story behind it and was recently recorded at his home studio in Port Moresby.
Allan Kedea, known for his stage name AKay47, can produce in many other styles and genres including reggae, R&B, Hop Hop and Local, but decided to go with a dance mode on this track.
‘Courage’ is the first single that both AKay47 and Alyson have produced together as collaboration despite having worked together on various projects with other artists in the past.
The song was inspired by the accidental shooting of the two innocent Hanuabada men, the late Nicholas Rarua and Toka Gaudi by the police earlier this year as a result of the much talked about ‘Betelnut Ban’ in the city.
“It took me a while to compile it and I’m glad the song is complete now.
“Alyson is a talented singer and it has been a real privilege working with her,” he said.
He confirmed that the new single is expected to hit the air waves soon.
