ACP leaders start arriving today

Leaders of the African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) group of States will start to arrive in Port Moresby today.

Prime Minister for the Pacific Island of Tuvalu, Enele Sosene Sopoaga will be the first head of state expected to land at midday.

The 8th ACP will be held next week in the Papua New Guinea’s capital.

The Summit will be held from May 30 to June 1, with 79 head of government and representative to attend.    

Also leaders arriving today are Barbados ambassador to Belgium Samuel J. Chandler, Belize Foreign Affairs minister Wilfred Elrington, Cape Verde Barbados ambassador to Belgium Jorge Alberto Dasilva Borges, Cuban ambassador to Australia Josh Galego Montano, Eritrea ambassador to Belgium Negassi Tekle, Gabon President of the National Assembly Auguste Richard Onouviet, Nigeria vice-president Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Togo ambassador to Brussels Kokou Nayo Atsumikoa M’Beou, Vanuatu Foreign Affairs minister Bruno Leingkone, and MSG secretariat deputy director general Molean Kilepak.
