Wapenamanda to revive mini cultural show

The Cultural Show chairman Samson Las, expressed his determination to rejuvenate the event in partnership with the National Cultural Commission (NCC).

The formal launch of the Wapenamanda cultural show took place at the NCC office in Port Moresby. At the ceremony, the NCC presented certificate of participation and recognition to the district show committee certifying the Wapenamanda District Cultural Show as a nationally sanctioned event.

International languages to be taught at Pausa Secondary

This was announced by the local MP and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration Rimbink Pato during the 10th school graduation last week Friday

Minister Pato said language classes in French, German, Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia will be taught by specialist language teachers based at the school next year.

“Learning one or two different foreign languages will assist students to become internationally competitive in global job market,” Pato said
