The tour will include four dates in the UK in Manchester, Birmingham and London.

The Wolverine star was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as Jean Valjean in the movie version of the musical Les Miserables.

He won a Golden Globe for his performance and was also nominated for a Globe for his turn in The Greatest Showman.

"Logan," his latest solo adventure, is an especially grim affair -- a marginally successful movie that carves out a niche closer to Quentin Tarantino than "The Avengers."

With a bandage over his nose, the star checked in with his fans on Twitter and Instagram to reveal that he's undergoing treatment for basal cell carcinoma, again. It's the most common form of skin cancer, but it is rarely fatal.

"Another basal cell carcinoma. Thanks to frequent body checks and amazing doctors, all is well. Looks worse with the dressing on than off. I swear! #wearsunscreen"

We're going to preface this by noting that it's highly unlikely that Hugh Jackman reads his Instagram comments. The man's got other fish to fry. Quite possibly literally, in this case.

And the movie’s star Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton are hot on the promotional trial as they were seen attending a NYC screening of the movie on Tuesday.

The 47-year old cut a dapper figure as he stormed the red carpet aloneside his co-star, 27, as they continue to launch the biographical sports dramedy.

Hugh, who plays Bronson Pearson in the movie, went for a more casual look than his peer as he rocked a crew-neck black jumper under a suit jacket. 

While the Aussie actor says he hasn't been approached recently about the role, he told E! News while prompting Pan (in theaters Oct. 9) that he's open to it now. "I'd certainly give it a thought," Jackman said. "I don't think there's an actor on the planet who wouldn't at least say, 'Oh, let me have a think about that.'"

Jackman has said in the past that he was once offered the job, but he decided against it because he was getting ready to film X-Men 2.

Spectre (in theaters Nov. 6) is Daniel Craig's final Bond film.
