COUNTING: WNB updates

Counting is progressing well in the West New Britain province.

In the provincial regional seat after count 18, Incumbent Governor and PNC candidate Sasindran Muthuvel has stretched his lead to 19,592 votes.

Still maintaining the second place is Coalition for Reform Party candidate Chris Paul Lagisa with 16,086 votes.

PNG Party candidate and former Kandrian Gloucester MP Tony Puana is still on third with 4,692 votes while Grassroots United Front Party candidate Camilus Vovore is on fourth place securing 3,082 votes.

On fifth spot is Pangu Pati candidate Henry Gorea on 2, 425 votes.

Meantime for the Kandrian Gloucester seat after count 20 sitting MP and leader of the Coalition for Reform Party candidate Joseph Lelang is on clear lead with 16,145 votes.

Trailing on second spot is People’s Progress Party candidate Peter Arul on 2,663 votes.

Third is THE Party candidate Walter Lunga securing 2,426 votes.

In fourth place is Bernard Aka with 1,909 votes and David Sui has dropped to the 5th spot with 1,656 votes.

Over to the Talasea Open after Count 20 the progressive results show;

Independent candidate Francis Galia Maneke sitting comfortably on 7,533 votes.

In second is sitting MP and PNC candidate Francis Marus with 4 190 votes.

PNG Socialist Party candidate Blaise Dau is on 3rd place with 2, 675 votes.

Meanwhile, Pangu Pati candidate and the youngest contestant Philhans Wai is on 4th spot with 2,536 votes and running fifth is John Takae on 2,390 votes.
