The Vision City mall is on lock down mode as security personnel and police are there to carry a sweep of the mall.
Early shoppers and staff were turned away as security guards advised them of a possible robbery gone wrong.
According to security on site there were two men spotted on a security camera during the early hours of the morning prompting guards to move in and vacate the store of people.
All gates to the site are closed as shoppers and vehicles are being moved out.
About three police units and two mobile squad cars are also on the scene, monitoring the situation.
