Opposition on zero tolerance on violence

With the country’s worsening global index of violence, which demands much to be desired for improvement, Polye has called on the stakeholders to take stock of their progress so far this year to try to take a rebound in 2016 and onwards.  

Polye made the comment on learning about a mother of two from Enga who has been on the run in fear of domestic violence from her fellow Engan husband.

“I broke into tears on Wednesday night when I was watching the mother, giving an account of her misery at her husband’s hands on NBC TV’s PNG Tonight.
