The PNGDF Commander Gilbert Toropo in a media brief says that the four soldiers from Murray Barracks were detained by military police and handed over to their civilian counterparts to be dealt with.
Toropo says that the military police are continuing their investigations as more detainments are anticipated to be made.
The four soldiers were taken to the Boroko police station where CID officers took their statements and interviewed them about the incident.
