Purpose Found In Self Confidence

The Grade 11 students of St Joseph’s Catholic College discussed the issue of “Overcoming Peer Pressure and Living Healthy” during the Chat room session and stressed on the significant impact it had on the integral development of young minds.

The discussions brought to light issues relating to Peer Pressure and what it means to Live Healthy. They called on governments and parents to start caring for the needs of the younger generation.

St Joseph’s outperform in spelling bee comp

The competition saw more than 100 students from 10 primary schools in NCD take part.

Students in the upper primary or senior level competed today with the 1st round proving tougher than expected.

From the 8 students who took the stage, Coronation Primary School, Salvation Army and Port Moresby International School survived the first surge of elimination.

Spellers from these three schools battled on until POMIS bagged the first of 4 rounds.
