The Girls Empowerment through Cricket program, launched today, is a development program initiated by CPNG and supported by Australian Aid to use cricket as the vehicle for change to empower young girls in Secondary schools.
Coinciding with International women’s Day, CPNG has decided to celebrate the launch of the program to show respect, appreciation and love towards all girls and women in the country.
The main aim of the program is to increase female participation in playing hard ball cricket and empower young girls through educational sessions.
