Baki outlined the submission from the Police Minister’s office as a way to help the force to revitalise much of the Constabulary’s dilapidated infrastructure, recruit more manpower, and train and re-equip the Constabulary against new emerging crime trends evolving across the globe.
He says that with the other government approved funding of 6,000 new houses for police and with procurement for this construction phase to begin early next year, these huge commitments, if implemented are expected to propel the Constabulary to new heights.
