PNG unity prayer conference

They have concluded that a strategic prayer program is the key to addressing these issues; and a national unity prayer conference will be held in Port Moresby from June 8th to 11th at the Sion Kami Memorial Church and Tabernacle of Prayer Church, Six Mile respectively.

BOC church leaders have taken steps to bring the country back on its feet in prayer, and they have invited a servant of God, Apostle Julius Suubi, from Africa to come and hold a Unity Prayer Conference.

Churches call for fasting amidst COVID-19 threats

Chairman of the BOC Reverend Joseph Walters said, “So we in the church see that something has gone wrong. The God who protected us, defended us and protected and helped us in 2020, where has he gone to, what’s happened? And we can only draw one conclusion that the country has sinned.”

Reverend Walters added the country through its government and political leaders and church leadership have strayed away from God.

Women’s conference underway in Port Moresby

The 7th National Women’s Conference is hosted by the PNG Wesleyan Church Women Ministry (PNG WCWM) with the theme ‘Pray at All Time’.

The conference will be held at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex and the Ensisi Valley Church Grounds.

PNG WCWM has been participating with other denomination’s women groups to work together to overcome challenges in fulfilling God’s purpose for women.

National Wesleyan women’s president Ruthy Herowa said they’ve been planning this conference for four years and are looking forward to the week-long activities.
