Smart Start Campaign Activated

Located in the Sogeri Mountains of Central Province, the Sogeri National High is considered a School of Excellence, and was selected as an entry point for the Paradise Foods first stop for the Smart Start Back2School Promotion.

School Principal Teddy Feria said that this was the first time the school was visited by an FMCG company since his commencement at the school. He looks forward to forging a partnership between the school and Paradise Foods.

He said, it is a privilege to set foot inside one of the country’s pioneer industry, as far as food processing is concern.

He was greeted on arrival at the Paradise Foods Limited Premises, and escorted into inside to begin the official tour of the factory.

Paradise Foods Limited has been in existence since 1945 and left its foot prints all over the country.

The Prime Minister said, “Today I come and see the industry that has been in existence outside of political motivation/political incentives that have been at work.”

Queen Emma Chocolate ramps up production

“We have identified the five main strategic growth drivers of the entire business and structured the operating companies to best achieve this, along with identifying new market segments we can enter using our combined strength. The existing categories of Biscuits, Cooking Oil, Ice Cream, Snacks, and Bottled Water have plenty of head space for growth, whilst our specialist chocolate factory is showing remarkable growth.”

Pharmacist is 2018 Ms Queen Emma Chocolate

She is Duri Pauline Herry, representing Paradise Foods as Miss Queen Emma Chocolate.

The announcement of Paradise Food’s Miss Queen Emma Chocolate 2018 coincided with the anniversary of the  date of Queen Emma, who was also known as Queen Emma of New Guinea, to whom the brand name is derived from.

Succeeding the role from 2017 Queen Emma Chocolate and also the reigning Miss PNG Niawali Twain, the 25-year-old pharmacist is confident of the journey before her.
