2018 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant PNG

Pharmacist is 2018 Ms Queen Emma Chocolate

She is Duri Pauline Herry, representing Paradise Foods as Miss Queen Emma Chocolate.

The announcement of Paradise Food’s Miss Queen Emma Chocolate 2018 coincided with the anniversary of the  date of Queen Emma, who was also known as Queen Emma of New Guinea, to whom the brand name is derived from.

Succeeding the role from 2017 Queen Emma Chocolate and also the reigning Miss PNG Niawali Twain, the 25-year-old pharmacist is confident of the journey before her.

2018 MPIP PNG launched

In a small event last night at the Royal Papua Yacht Club in Port Moresby, chairperson Molly O’Rourke officially opened another year of the pageant.

This was in the presence of the former and current contestants, sponsors and supporters as well as MPIP PNG scholarship winners, designers and the reigning queen Niawali Twain.

Called the pageant with a purpose, it has four main foundations: The Scholarship fund, the Pacific Balanced Fund Project Runway, MPIP PNG pageant and the regional MPIP Regional Pageant.

Each foundation has its own success stories to tell.
