Speaking during the launch of Digicel’s latest promotion in Port Moresby, Bhargava said since the launch of free Facebook mode by Digicel PNG for its internet users, the market has dominated the internet traffic going to Facebook.

Free Facebook Mode was launched on July 24 this year.

Bhargava said over the last three months, Digicel PNG took note of customers’ grievances and has come up with three wantok festival offers that will run in the month of October.

Digicel’s 1Tok Crazy October Offers commences on October 5 and include customer treats such as a Happy Hour offer, a Weekend Pass offer and a 24-hour SMS Pass offer.

All offers will be available through a new Digicel Treats Menu which can be accessed by dialing short code *675#.

Digicel Managing Director, Mobile, Shivan Bhargava said the offers provide greater flexibility for customers and are designed to meet their phone usage needs.
