Digicel is celebrating the start of October with a range of attractive offers for prepaid customers that will make communicating with friends and family easier and more affordable.
Digicel’s 1Tok Crazy October Offers commences on October 5 and include customer treats such as a Happy Hour offer, a Weekend Pass offer and a 24-hour SMS Pass offer.
All offers will be available through a new Digicel Treats Menu which can be accessed by dialing short code *675#.
Digicel Managing Director, Mobile, Shivan Bhargava said the offers provide greater flexibility for customers and are designed to meet their phone usage needs.
“We know our customers often like to chat to their friends and family more after work or on weekends, or they may have a special time in their life when they want to spend a little longer speaking to one person,” he said.
“These offers make it more affordable to chat and message when you want to. And accessing the offers is now easier through one menu.”
The Digicel 1Tok Crazy offers include a Happy Hour offer through which prepaid customers can have 60 minutes of talk time at the price of only K2. Happy Hour is available any time of the day or week but the hour starts as soon as the offer is purchased. During the hour customers can call any local Digicel number as many times as they like.
The Weekend Pass offer provides 50 minutes of talk time and 50 SMS messages to any local Digicel phone number for just K3. The calls and texts must be made between the first minute of Saturday and the last minute of Sunday in the one weekend.
Digicel’s 1Tok Crazy Offers also include the SMS Pass offer which is now available through the Digicel Treats Menu. The SMS Pass offers 60 SMS messages to local Digicel phones within 24 hours for just K1.20.
As part of the launch, Digicel will also be running competitions on Facebook, radio stations and during roadshows where lucky customers nationwide will get a chance to win credits, phones, bluetooth speakers, and merchandise. All they need to do to win is hash tag their post updates with #1Tok.
The Digicel roadshows will be held in Port Moresby on Thursday October 6 followed by Lae Mt Hagen and Kokopo on Monday, October 10. Customers are encouraged to be a part of the 1Tok Crazy October Offers by coming along and participating in these events in their provinces.
