The Morobe Provincial Health Authority has recorded 87 COVID-19 cases and another death as of today.
The March 9th death follows Lae’s first COVID-19 passing in the early hours of February 8th.
The number of active cases is expected to increase.
The PHA is urging residents to follow the COVID-19 protocols of face masking and physical distancing.
