Tony Subam Fellowship call out

The Wantok Musik Foundation, in association with APRA AMCOS, announced the annual fellowship which is open to any band that has a strong element of cultural expression in their work, and is administered by the Wantok Musik Foundation.

This fellowship is named after and in honour of the late Tony Subam, former member of the band Sanguma.

Sanguma pioneered the use of traditional PNG music and songs in harmony with western styles of music.

Tony Subam Fellowship extended another two weeks

The deadline has been extended to March 15 to allow PNG musicians to produce their demos for submission.

TSF was unveiled by Wantok Musik Foundation (WMF) in early January in association with APRA AMCOS.

The annual fellowship is open to bands in PNG with a strong element of cultural expression in their work and is administered by WMF.
