He said this after meeting with UK Prime Minister David Cameron over the weekend before the traditional Trooping of the Queen’s Colours in celebration of the birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
“David Cameron and I had a good discussion on matters of regional importance and he wished Papua New Guinea well for the Pacific Games next month and our hosting APEC in 2018,” he says
“He is also very aware of the changes that have been taking place in Papua New Guinea in recent years and the new optimism that comes with economic growth.”
