PNG Mining and Petroleum Investment Conference

PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum President, Anthony Smare says the conference is a major success with participation at an all-time high despite the impact of COVID-19 in the last three years. 
The 16th PNG Mining and Petroleum Conference and Exhibition has provided the industry and associated professionals, with an invaluable opportunity to network and market Papua New Guinea as a destination for business and potential investment.

More than 900 delegates and exhibitors from resource and service companies, government organisations, landowner groups, international investors and financiers, and aid organisations will attend the 14th conference at the Sydney Hilton Hotel.

Prime Minister Peter O'Neill will open the conference with a keynote address followed by Treasurer Patrick Pruaitch's presentation on the National Budget and the 2017 outlook.
