Govt officials to study in Japan

A pre-departure meeting was held at the head office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Port Moresby on Friday to announce the successful selection of the trainees; 3 under the Pacific LEADS program and 1 under the KIZUNA Program.

The programs are aimed at building human resources and networking for sustainable mining development in countries around the world.

Philemon Nangu, Claire Kliawi, Edea Loa and Amukele Amukele will take up training in Japan in their respective field of work, under the KIZUNA Program for 2018.
