PI Company Director, Everett Chue, said that PI is excited to be the beverage sponsor. This will be the third year to sponsor and are looking forward to the milestone event in March.

“Pacific Industries is proud to announce our sponsorship once again to be the official beverage sponsor for 2023 Hiri Moale Festival. I believe next year will be its 50^th year of the event so that’s going to be an exciting time and we will continue to sponsor it,” said Chue.

This is to recognize and appreciate the work and efforts of the staff every year.

PI National Trade Activation Manager, Christine Miria expressed that they wanted to do this donation to show their appreciation towards the staff of PMGH and to also fulfil their commitment to community based social responsibility to the hospital.

“We hope the staff will enjoy a can of PEPSI Max while on shift break and we are happy to make this possible through Friends of POMGEN,” she added.

This is all thanks to Pacific Industries who delivered cartons of water enough to last for three weeks of training before they depart this month to play in qualification tournaments.

President of the PNG Rugby Football Union, Steven Kami thanked Pacific Industries for their timely sponsorship.

“This will lead to better training for the team and getting fit. Pacific Industries is one of the first sponsors to come in as the team prepares to travel overseas. Thank you to Pacific Industries,” said Kami.
