After putting up a strong fight against a fast paced Vanuatu side 3-1 on Thursday in their first match of the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, the Nicola Demaine side is hopeful to come out on top against Tahiti in the Group B match tomorrow. Captain Meagan Gunemba will lead her force like she did in the match with Vanuatu and will depend on her forwards to fire on.
Injuries is also a concern in the camp as Georgina Kaikas and Faith Kasiray have fallen to injuries after the Vanuatu match, with Coach Demaine expected to change the line-up against Tahiti.
