Tournament coordinator, Steven Nightingale said 16 teams are confirmed to take part. The teams have been spilt into two pools.
This includes for the first time teams from Port Moresby, Maprik, Lihir and Brisbane.
“In the past, we have had teams from Kavieng, Kimbe and Buka only,” said Nightingale.
The tournament starts tomorrow and will end with the finals on Sunday.
“The way the finals will work is the top three of both pools will advance to the finals on Sunday and there will be six games in the finals to determine the champions,” said Nightingale.
