President of the network, Rodney Mukinere, started the group in 2005, when he was diagnosed with AIDS.
“I saw that there was a need to talk about taking care of people with HIV/AIDS because I noted that when people bring them to the hospital and hear the diagnosis, they abandon them,” said Mukinere.
“We started taking care of them hence, the formation of the network.
“There were others who had recovered but came back to assist and we formed the Morobe Network of Positive Living.
