Shady Rest Hotel donates to hospital

These include hospital bedding for patients and toiletries. Many corporate friends of POMGen have come forward with variety of gifts and one of the recent ones is the Shady Rest Hotel.

Shady Rest Hotel donated 60 cartons of Dove Soap to the Port Moresby General Hospital to support the needs of patients admitted to the hospital.

Marketing Manager, Wesley Watuna stated that a strong community is built on the foundation of good health.

‘Gift A Friend’ Program A Success

FOPG is the charity arm of PMGH.

FOPG Operations team in partnership with PMGH Staff distributed the gifts to more than 10 wards at the hospital.

Before commencing the program at Waterfront Foodworld, Deputy Chairlady of POMGEN, Kathy Johnston said the festive season is a time of sharing and giving.

“FOPG is all about creating partnership with the community to share with the hospital so this is a perfect opportunity to share the love of Christmas by giving a gift”.

‘Share A Gift’ Program Launched

FOPG officially launched their 21 days of ‘Gift a Friend’ program at Waterfront Foodworld. The program will run from 29 of November to 20th December 2021.

The FOPG Executive Management team, representative from Port Moresby General  Hospital Management and partners including Waterfront and Miss Alibi from Alibi Bar and Grill rallied together to support this special cause.

Founding Director and Deputy Chairlady of POPG, Kathy Johnston said the Christmas festive season is a time of sharing and giving.
