Council of Public Sector Unions

Public sector unions threaten industrial action

This is the direction they have opted to take after deliberations yesterday.

A demand was put to the Chief Secretary in May 2018, but the Council has not received any response to date.

These issues relate to the State Liability where the exiting or retrenched public servants have not received their final entitlements, with many of them passing without receiving the State’s contribution for their services.

The Council is now demanding that the government settle the Nambawan Super Liability by the end of August for the 6,000 plus retrenched public servants.
