Coca-Cola supports Musik Awards

Its signature platform launched recently in the country is the Coke studio; bringing together artists from different genres, eras and regions.

Now getting on board as the major sponsor for the PNG Musik Awards, Coca-Cola is bringing a number of these artists to perform at PNG’s biggest music event.

The Musik Awards is another opportunity for these artists, some of whom are from underground genres, not widely known by the PNG audience.

Planet Native, a hip-hop group, is one of such and has been selected to perform at the event as the night opener.

Blatter won't stand down despite call from sponsors

Coca-Cola took the first step, saying: "Every day that passes FIFA's image and reputation continues to tarnish."

McDonald's said Blatter going would be "in the best interest of the game".

The 79-year-old is accused by Swiss prosecutors of signing a contract that was "unfavourable to Fifa" and making a "disloyal payment" to UEFA president Michel Platini but denies any wrongdoing.
