2015 Southern Region Rugby League 9s

The Titans got off to the worst possible start after a knock on from the kick off. ‘

Rovanama capitalized immediately scoring out wide and again minutes later to lead 8-0.

The Titans regrouped and hit back through outside centre Wanipu Chris.

The momentum swung the Titans way when they got their second try.

Helangi Kovae Jnr put his side right back in the game converting both tries to push his side out to a 12-8 lead going into half time.

The second half saw a flurry of tries from both sides.

In the morning matches, Soges Developments beat Vanagi Blacks 18 - while the Central Wagahots shot down the Vadavada Goilords14- 6.

Later in the day Hydro Vipers downed Coast Brothers 14- 4 and Boera Sailors (1) drew level with the Barra Paddlers 16-16.

In the afternoon matches, a converted try gave the Lahua Nadies  a 18-12 win over Rovanama (2).

The next game was a close encounter with the Mogeana Blues edging out Ranuhedadi 8-6.

Games will continue until 8pm tonight.

Finals for the 9s will get underway tomorrow.
