Do it yourself at King Hot Pot!

 King Hot Pot is here!

And now, gone are the days of sitting and waiting to be served.

The newest restaurant in Vision City opened today to the excitement of customers familiar with a hot pot.

This is common in Asian countries, sometimes called a steam boat.

It refers to several East Asian varieties of food, consisting of simmering metal pot of stock at the center of the dining table. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table.

King Hot Pot is the first steam boat experience in town, comfortably tucked between Hogs breath and Yellow Captain.

The restaurant is lined with modern touch-screen featured smart tables with electric stove built-in for customers to cook their own food and eat.

“Not every food served is usually up to the customers taste so the hot pot idea allows the customer to have as much as they want. And they are able to cook it the way they prefer,” said Ivy Chen, the manager.

Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meatleaf vegetablesmushroomswontons, egg dumplingstofu, and seafood. The cooked food is usually eaten with a dipping sauce.

Chen has been in the country for almost 30 years now and only switched to restaurants with King Hot Pot.

“This is the first and we are welcoming suggestions from the public on what type of food you’d prefer us to include on the menu,” she said.

The restaurant also extends to a patio, open for outdoor barbecue that beautifully lights up in the night.

The opening of King Hot Pot now brings the total number of restaurants in Vision City to atleat 15.

Vision City has confirmed more unique restaurants to open soon.

King Hot Pot is open seven days from  9am to 9pm.
