Opportunities beyond YEK: Jack Spade

His appearance on Digicel Play’s Yu Em Khax talent show attracted many fans, making him the crowd favourite.

The talent show is almost over and Jack Spade already has gigs lined up.

Not only that, but he wants to see all contestants continue performing together, even after the show.

“I’ve already got a gig lined up for the Easter weekend and I’ve talked with other contestants. It would be good to use different acts to entertain.

“I want my fellow contestants to experience something outside the studio and to see that there’s a career with it,” he said.

Speaking on relationship with other contestants, he says:

“It is a great relationship and experience with them. We’ve shared a little bit of our skills with each other.

“I taught them a little bit of magic, they’ve taught me a little bit of dancing and beatboxing. It’s good to know them,” he adds.

“I’d like to encourage them that life doesn’t revolve around YEK. After YEK, we should go to the next level.”
