Panthers too strong for Butterflies

​A classy second half performance with three tries gave the Paga Panthers an easy 18-0 win over the Butterflies in the Port Moresby Rugby Football League today.

The round 5 women's division match was a tight first half but the Panthers managed a try to outside centre Katherine Anjo.

This gave them a 4-0 lead going into the break.

The second half of play was where the Panthers ravaged their opponents.

They struck twice on the same wing minutes from kick-off to extend the lead out to 14-0 lead.

The win was all but assured when Annie James scored out wide on the right wing.

In the other women's matches, Sisters beat Kone Storms 12-0 while the Dobo Warriors forfeited Tarangau.
