The West New Britain community in Lae have been preparing to host the first of its kind WNB Day in Lae city on Oct 29.
President of the West New Britain Students Association at the National Polytechnical Institute Ricky Ben told Loop PNG this morning that the event will be stage at the Sir Ignatius stadium.
He said so far WNB elites in Lae city have been looking forward to the day.
Ben said WNB students from various institutions in Lae will be doing a major fundraising drive towards hosting the day.
“To the WNB professionals, youths and elites in Lae city we'll be having a meeting with Unitech and Polytech WNB Students this Sunday at the Polytech campus.
“If you are free please make yourself available. Your presence will be highly appreciated.”
Ben is calling on the leaders of WNB to support them and raise funds to host the event.
