The hotel staff of Holiday Inn and Suites paid a visit to the PMGH children’ intensive care unit and Ward 1B surprising the children with dolls and doughnuts last week.
Hotel Manager, Holiday Inn Express, Ida Golu who led the team said based on the theme of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Foundation “Gift of kindness”.
Golu says he wanted the staff to take time out from work to visit those in need and present them little gift packs.
“The team was grateful enough to spend a few minutes with the children and their parents, as this small act of kindness goes a long way,” he says.
Acting Nurse Unit Manager of the pediatric ward 1B, Zillah Wama, thanked the Holiday Inn team for the wonderful gifts presented to the children.
“Their visit has put smiles on their faces.”
