Mobile app for business loans launched

Small business owners in rural communities can apply for a loan directly from a smartphone with the launch of the FinCorp Business Loans mobile application.

The app was launched today by FinCorp Board chairman Robert Igara and managing director Tony Witham.

Witham said this enables all businesses to have access to a lending facility from a licensed financial institution and will now be able to apply online and instantly.

Witham encouraged SME customers to download and use the app as the app saves time than waiting in line at their office.

The app enables applicants to calculate repayment amounts for requested term so they can tailor the loan to suit their terms.

All applications approved will be referred to a business person specialist and those that are declined will be reviewed for a call back or alternately call one of FinCorp SME specialists lending officers.

The app can be downloaded on smart phones anywhere in PNG at www.fincorp.com.pg and follow the prompts or visit Google Play or the Apple Store.
